Description:
Ice Hockey at Marriotts Ridge is a club sport because it is not funded by Howard County Schools, however it is a Varsity Level Sport. The team plays 10 league games during the Winter Sports Season against other Howard County Schools in our Howard County Scholastic Hockey Association (HCSHA) Conference. Additional practices and scrimmages will be scheduled. Players will tryout for the team, and must meet the grade requirement of 2.0 GPA with no E's for the 1st marking period. The Boosters helps fund the cost of game ice, but all other costs (equipment, jerseys, socks, team jacket and practice/scrimmage ice) must be paid by the individual player.
