How it Works

Every extracurricular group within MRHS is eligible to request funding support from Boosters each April for the following school year -- every group within Performing Arts, every club and organization, and every athletic team.

Boosters also receives funding requests for items that benefit the entire student body, ie., agenda books, honor roll awards, Naviance college search software, TeacherWeb, and more.

In May, the Boosters Finance Committee will review the funding requests submitted by club sponsors and coaches, and determine what we can allocate to each group, based on our proposed income for the coming school year.

At our May Boosters meeting we will present a proposed budget to the Board of Directors for review and discussion, at which time changes may be made.

In June, the Boosters Board of Directors will approve the proposed budget. School groups will be notified by Boosters as to what their funding allocation is for the coming year, before the current school year ends.
